For as little as $50/month, you can join our giving circle help provide fresh, homemade meals to GTA families in need.
At Our Giving Kitchen, we're on a mission to unite the young Jewish community and fight hunger in our community through hands-on cooking experiences. By preparing fresh, nutritious meals with love, our volunteers are making an immediate difference for local families in need.
With your donation, you can help us:
♥ Fund weekly volunteer sessions, each engaging 20+ volunteers
♥ Provide fresh, nutritious meals for families facing food insecurity
♥ Inspire a ripple effect of giving and strengthen our community
In our first year, we aim to provide over 2,500 home-cooked meals by hosting 25 sessions with hundreds of volunteers. But we need your help to make it happen. Here's what your support can do:
$50/month provides ingredients for a family's fresh, homemade dinner
$180/month equips a cooking station with professional-grade tools and supplies
$500/month funds 50 fresh meals for families in need
$1,000/month funds a complete cooking session producing 100 fresh meals for families in need
Our Giving Kitchen is just getting started. Our five-year vision includes a permanent home in Thornhill, a dedicated meal delivery program serving every underserved neighborhood, and partnerships that extend our impact far beyond the Jewish community.
